We love cool cars, we love driving fast. If you love those same things don’t be a schmuck and get your ass to one of the Clubloose 2 Drift events this summer. I promise you a beautiful Sunday drive, burning rubber and those most fun you can have around four wheels. Don’t miss out everyone that goes with us comes back a changed man. Blasfome Welcomes Troy Manners to the Blasfamily

Troy Manners at Midvale from wekphotography on Vimeo.

A few weeks back while we were at the Clubloose II End of Summer Jam we added a new member to the Blasfamily.  Meet Troy “Squirt” Manners.  Troy hails from just north of Pittsburgh in a town called Punxsutawney.  Troy is a top notch drifter and all around bad ass.  The things this kid can do with a car are unbelievable.  At only 17 years old he is competing and driving with some of the top drifters in the world and let me tell you from my rides around the track with him he is virtually fearless.

We are proud to welcome Troy to the Blasfome team and we can’t wait to see what insanity he can pull off next.  Give Troy a warm Blasfamily welcome when you see him and check out these photos and video of Troy doing what he does best at Midvale Speedway and Freedom Moves at Englishtown, NJ.  Keep an eye peeled for fellow Blasfome Teammate John Wagner ripping with Troy in a few of the photos.  Please be sure to spread some love to the photographers and videographers that put these imagines together they risk life and limb just like the drivers. ...

Clubloose ii Drifting July Edition – Midvale Speedway Midvale, OH from Blasfome on Vimeo.

Check out the July Edition of our monthly trips to Midvale Speedway in Ohion for a day of fun and drifting with our friends from Clubloose ii. It rained a bit this time out, but the show must go on and we broke out the rain gear and held it down. Of course we have a fucking blast every month rain or shine. If you haven’t made the trip with us come out have a beer and some food watch some guys get nuts in their cars and maybe get yourself a ride around the track. I promise you drifting is as addicting as crack in a good way. Keep drifting fun! Next track day is August 26th....

Drift crew The Bloodmasters dropped Bloodbath The Extended Cut on Friday. If you have been following our maniac friends from New Jersey you should have a good idea what you are in for. If this is your first first taste of blood let me describe it for you put your favorite Match Box Car in a blender. Blend on high. Multiply the resulting chaos by 10,000. Keep Drifting Fun

Posted on May 18, 2012 by Dave

Keep Drifting Fun is a really dope short form documentary on the culture of American drifting. It features some of the homies from Clubloose in New Jersey. It reminds me of skateboard and bmx videos from when I was a young buck. If you’re into acting a fool, adrenaline and action sports you won’t be disappointed in this gem. Keep Drifting Fun is a classic action sports video and if you don’t want to do burn-outs and doughnuts after you watch it you don’t have a pulse. (repost from Keep Drifting Fun)

In 2010 we crisscrossed the USA interviewing drivers and covering grassroots drifting events. We wanted to know why people choose to drift, how they got into the sport, and why the love it. The answer is simple, its fun. In fact, its the most fun you can have with a car. Once you do it, you’re hooked and for children of the action sports era – its easy to understand being subjective and judged. In this short form documentary, we visit some of the most vibrant and passionate drifting communities in the US. We talk with up and coming amateur drivers and pro drifters about the sport and why Keep Drifting Fun is more than just a motto – it has changed their lives.

Blasfome_Bloodmasters_Wagner1-2You may have noticed that we have been posting a lot of updates from the Bloodmasters Drift Missile Crew on the Blasfome site lately.  Understandably it seems a little off base from the usual hip-hop news that generally dominates the theme of the site.  Truth be told long before anyone at Blasfome was even thinking of the brand we were racing cars and generally causing trouble by any means possible.  This lead us to make a lot of really awesome friends and become involved in many different cultures so, when it came time for Blasfome and the Blasfamily to grow past its hip-hop roots the first place we turned was to our good friend John Wagner of the Bloodmasters.Blasfome_Bloodmasters_Wagner5-2John is a demon behind the wheel so much of a demon that he is a Formula D driver and has competed in drift events across the country and is part of the Drift Alliance Crew.  Basically what John can do in car is nothing short of amazing.  John’s latest adventure is being part of the The Bloodmasters an unsanctioned allstar crew of Formula D drivers and maniacs.  Saying that these guys are stuntmen would make it sound like they have a plan.  Calling them the Blue Angels of drift driving would make it sound like they had some sort of discipline.  The Bloodmasters are more closely related to the Japanese car subculture of Bosozuko Wagner and his Bloodmaster brethern are more likely to get in a bar fight, pull into the race track fresh out of jail and late on a stripped down Honda motorcycle than they are to thank tire sponsors and pose with trophies on some podium while popping champagne.

Blasfome_Bloodmasters_Wagner8-2It made total sense that when we were scheduling this photo shoot with John that he would insist we shoot all of the photos at the Tennyson Lodge, a local dive bar/strip club in the suburbs of Pittsburgh that John and the rest of the Bloodmasters frequent when they’re in town.  When we meet Wagner at the Tennyson for the shoot we find that the entire staff knows him by name.  He makes nice with the owner’s dog Scrappy Doo as we get ready for the shoot and some dancing girls.  This is Wagner’s spot.  We stay late into the night shooting pics and throwing money at strippers.  Meet the newest member of the Blasfamily John Wagner.
